Assessing the Writing Needs, Goals, and Aspirations of Community-Based Organizations in Greater Lafayette
In this IRB-approved study, I lead a 3-person research team in a mixed-methods needs assessment of community-based organizations in Greater Lafayette, Indiana. The aim of this study is to determine the common genres of writing used in the work of local organizations, develop resources on the Purdue Online Writing Lab for these genres, and facilitate university-community partnerships that center writing-related projects.
